New Website Launch Press Release

NEW ORLEANS– Feb. 4, 2012– Over 1,000 online influencers and mom bloggers have joined the Double Duty Divas since 2009 to network, connect and partner with new brands. Companies have taken advantage of the Divas experience as seasoned bloggers, hiring them to coordinate review campaigns, Twitter parties and social media outreach efforts.

“In an effort to make both hiring and joining the Double Duty Divas an easier and more streamlined experience, we’re thrilled to re-launch with a brand new website today,” says Cecelia Mecca, co-owner of the company. The new site comes on the heels of the Divas success of the first Reviewer’s Retreat, the only blog conference created with the sole purpose of connecting brands and bloggers.

Sponsored by Pampers for the second year, Reviewer’s Retreat at Great Wolf Lodge 2012  allows the Divas an opportunity to extend the experience of connecting companies and online influencers on DoubleDutyDivas.com in real life. This year a “Review U” theme combines hands-on workshops, brand/blogger one-on-one opportunities and sessions in both undergraduate and graduate tracks. With plenty of time for recess, tailgating and homework (free) time, attendees enjoy a unique conference experience learning to partner more effectively with companies and sliding River Canyon Run ™ and other Great Wolf Lodge attractions all in one weekend.

A New Double Duty Diva Design!

After months to planning and coding, the fabulous Chris Loringer has given us a brand new home. We’re planning to add a member section for current Divas and a few other goodies, but the majority of the site is all set. We hope it brings a cleaner, easier navigation for both bloggers and brands. And what would any network worth it’s mettle be without super cute blog banners? Share and show your Diva pride since we all know doing double duty is not easy. And keep your eyes out for a newsletter with exciting information and the biggest promotion to date. Details to come.
