About

When Cecelia from Cool Baby Kid and Bridgette from The Not-So-Blog’s Experimental Mommy realized they weren’t alone as mom bloggers who work full-time outside the home, they decided to join forces. Their busy lives leave them seeing double as they manage careers, family and blogs since 2007 with a network of over 1,000 top online influencers.

Recipe for Double Duty Divas

Serving Both Online Influencers and Companies

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Take two professional women, one English teacher (Cecelia) and one scientist (Bridgette) and throw them into the world of professional blogging.
  2. Let the blogs grow as the ladies learn to balance careers, parenthood and their new hobby turned part-time jobs.
  3. Introduce the bloggers at BlogHer in Chicago (2009), and be sure they have a lot in common including their desire to network and share tips on “managing it all.”
  4. Throw in a need to connect top online influencers with companies who understand the importance of blog marketing.
  5. Toss into the mix the best membership director (Renee, What Mommies Need) as well as a superb social media strategist (Angie, My Four Monkeys) and a talented attorney (Jena, Ramblings of a Healthy Chick.)
  6. Spotlight the Divas on television and in print media to showcase their unique talents.
  7. Add the first and only conference for product review bloggers and brands called Reviewer’s Retreat.
  8. Voila!
